This year will mark my 26th year as a teacher in the Branson School District. During these 26 years I have taught both first and second grades. In addition to my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education I also have a Master’s Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in learning disabilities. The thing I most want you to know about me is that I love to teach! When I was a student in second grade I decided I wanted to be a teacher and I feel fortunate to be living my dream. Although I have no children of my own, I am an aunt to 5 wonderful nieces and nephews and am a licensed foster parent. I try to conduct my classroom with the type of sensitivity, professionalism, creativity, and high expectations that I wish for my nieces, nephews and foster children to experience in their respective classes. I am very excited about this year and the opportunity to work with you and your child. I believe it is extremely important to communicate and work together as a student/parent/teacher team. Your participation and support in and out of the classroom will help us enjoy a productive, creative, and fun school year!
